– For pilots with the initial certification level, the goal is to initiate themselves to thermal and dynamic conditions, and to refine their takeoff techniques in strong wind…

– 5 days of flying, two flights in the morning and the evening flight for pilots with the required level (a day of slope flying for students who haven’t flown in a long time).
– Please note that the courses run from Sunday to Thursday, but participants should also allocate Friday and Saturday for possible rescheduling due to bad weather.

– The evening flight is available at an additional cost of 45€.

Ground Skills:

Prerequisites: Having worked on various skills from the progression stage. Objective: Autonomy in take-off phases in light wind conditions and practicing take-off techniques in the wind. Initial license attainable at the end of the stage if the level achieved is sufficient, validation of progression on the FFVL paragliding license.

• Managing low and high speeds
• Static back canopy inflation (low movement, 15km/h wind)

Flight Skills:

Prerequisites: Handling the wing on the roll axis and mastering rapid descents with ears. Objective: Mastering the pitch axis and learning the basic piloting skills necessary for safe thermal flying. Initial license attainable at the end of the stage if the level achieved is sufficient.

• Inverted 360 / 180 by lifting the inner hand
• Conducting turns using inverse roll

Theoretical Knowledge:

Prerequisites: Having integrated various lessons from the progression stage. Objective: Learning the theoretical basics necessary for approaching flying in thermal conditions. Initial license attainable at the end of the stage if the level achieved is sufficient.

7 students maximum per group, new equipment per student (helmet, harness, parachute and paraglider), recent vehicles in good condition.

In summer, we use the ski lifts to get to the take-off sites, to limit the number of cars on the roads and reduce our carbon footprint, as well as for the comfort of our students.
